Pitched in the desert are a couple of tents with a rickety wooden sign outside with the title sprawled across it. It means "coffee street." More or less, it is a pit stop for weary travelers. Though no one appears to own the the small tent town, there have been eerie rumors going around that the people who sleep there wake up with missing belongings. There are a few camels that can be found wandering the area, but they all have deformities through inbreeding. Too many legs, humps in all the wrong places, multiple heads, etc.

No New Posts AQUIS

A location of myth and rumor, this desert oasis is a subject of popular fable. With the freshest and coolest of water and the most succulent of fruit, people lost in the Blazing Sands who encounter this haven are thought to be blessed by some higher power. Most do not seem to come upon this paradise in more than one lifetime as it's fond of disappearing, only to reappear miles and miles away. Others claim it is only a phantom; a mirage in the distance that one is never able to reach.

No New Posts THE RAVINE

A dangerous part of the desert. While walking it will seem as if the sand goes on for miles, but at one point there is a drop; a large crack within the sand with a very long drop down. During sand storms, the sand from above will flow down into the Ravine like a waterfall and though it sounds almost beautiful, it is not just sand that is shoved down in to the area. It is more like a massive landslide, shoving even beasts down below. Most do not survive the fall of course, but there are always those few very adaptable beasts. One can climb down here if they take their time, as there are caves to be explored down below.

No New Posts BONEYARD LABYRINTH

Going down to the bottom of the ravine, you can explore it's rocky grounds; skeletons, rotting human bodies, and even a few plants to be seen. However, leaving the narrow part of the ravine you are greeted by a large, spacious rock area; with colossal bones extending high up into the sky. They pitch together so well they make a maze, ever changing by powerful winds snapping the huge rib bones and sending them crashing to earth. The skulls are particularly useful to hide in when needing to rest, and some rumor that treasure is buried somewhere in the maze.

No New Posts UKTUBAR CITY

The city of Uktubar (October) is a bedouin trade location that is frequented by many criminals. It is a large city, built in an Earthly Egyptian architecture, and as a coastal city it can get quite chilly despite it's desert surroundings. The homes are quite quaint, and the city is more dominantly Trollkien after having chased out many of the former Piksey living here. It is governed by a tribal chieftain, with little to no modern buildings. Just bazaars, shops, a barracks, and neighborhoods.

No New Posts TERMITE VALLEY

Beyond the dunes and mirages, there is a flat area of sand that is stretched far and dotted with dead plants that once struggled to live. Now the only thing living here are the giant sand mounds rising from the ground. They look almost like rock from a distance, but are merely hardened sand. The mounds reach up high, as tall as a building, and can easily be seen from a distance. That should be enough warning to not go near them, but eh, curiosity killed the cat. In these mounds live Termites. No, not squish with your shoe and a bother to your wooden house termites. This lovely bunch are massive - up to your knee - and really, what is the difference to them between wood or bones?
