...It evolved into the construction of the World Peace Committee, functioning to ensure that no Kingdoms fought senselessly and picked on smaller city-states; while policing the activities of sky pirates, sea pirates, and nomad clans. Finally, the Obsidian Trading Enterprise came into fruition (640AC), expanding its economic reach into practically every city through the world. It invented new items that could only be purchased by OTE; it brewed potions, poisons, and various other pieces of equipment -- putting small business owners out of work. Even the clothing on a beings back was manufactured by talented creators under the Enterprises influence.
Finally, calamity struck...
